How do I determine my bracelet size?Italian Charm bracelets are modular bracelets, each link can be taken out and replaced with a different one! Each link is spring-loaded and can be removed without the help of any special tools. You begin with a starter bracelet which can contain anything from 16-19 links. To determine your Italian Charm bracelet size, measure your wrist where you'd typically wear a watch or bracelet, add half an inch, and select a size based on the measurement. Italian Charm bracelets range from 6-9 inches. Most wrists fit about 16-18 charms, but it depends on the individual's preference. Bear in mind the links are spring-loaded and will expand to fit. The following information is meant as a guide: 15 links = 5 and 2/3 inches 16 links = 6 and 1/3 inches 17 links = 6 and 2/3 inches 18 links = 7 and 1/3 inches 19 links = 7 and 2/3 inches 20 links = 8 and 1/3 inches 21 links = 8 and 2/3 inches Remember: You can always add and remove charms to get your desired bracelet size.

How do I connect the charms?Adding, removing, and changing around your Links is super easy! It may take one or two tries the first time, but once you get the hang of it, it’s easy-peasy. Watch our how-to tutorial, and see just how simple it is to personalize your Ciao Charms bracelet. The charms link together using a loop on the back of the starter bracelet which hooks up to the opening on the charm. Notice that in order to put the new charm on you must expand the starter link outward and press down with your thumb to keep it in place. If it is your first time you may find it easier to use a tool of some type, a nail file or strong object to hold open the link while putting on the charm, another set of hands is sometimes helpful as well. The left side of the charm will have an opening to link to. The charms are tiny and the opening is small, look carefully, it is a slot only a few millimeters wide. Holding the link open by using pressure from your thumb, slide the charm onto the end from the bottom up. Tilting it at an angle may help to align the links to make it easier to slide onto the starter.

Can I shower with an Italian Charm Bracelet?To avoid damaging your jewellery in anyway we recommend that you remove all your jewellery when you shower or bathe; water or chlorine can compromise the shine of the jewellery so take off your jewellery when swimming and at the Spa. Remember to remove your jewellery before applying perfumes, skin creams, suntan lotion or oils of any kind. Never wear your jewellery when working with detergents, bleaches, ammonia or alcohols; these chemicals will cause discoloration, damage and loosen stone settings
